Values in Healthcare
a spiritual approach
Programme developed by The Janki Foundation for Global Healthcare, UK
Background

A Spiritual model in modern healthcare… encourages the development of human understanding in response to suffering.  It is not a substitute for medical science or clinical skill and resources, but it can enable a more integrated approach to healthcare.

‘Values in Healthcare…’ is a development programme which will help healthcare professionals and teams to support themselves and their patients.  Through experiential exercises and opportunities for reflection, participants can identify their own core values and discover ways to enhance their work.

The learning outcomes enable professionals in all settings to cope better with their stress, work and feel a sense of purpose.  This prevents problems of burnout, sickness-absence and helps in staff retention.
