The Intensive Care Service takes adequate care of patients with surgical or medical critical illness. The Intensive Care Service has particular expertise in sepsis and septic shock, adult respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS), respiratory failure, respiratory infections, poisoning, gastrointestinal, hepatic & cardiac emergencies, and diabetic emergencies.
